Customized Coaching
There is no greater investment that we can make than in our own personal growth and development. When we commit to doing our own inner work, it's not just going to benefit us, it has a profound ripple effect, touching everyone around us as well. It is true that when we are able to embody our best selves, and live from that place, we have so much more to offer in our personal and professional lives. Working together, you will have a unique opportunity to expedite your growth, resulting in lasting positive change in your life.
We start by taking a comprehensive assessment of every area of your life, along with creating a clear vision of what authentic success looks like for you. As your Coach, I will support you in discovering what has been in the way of having what you want, up until now. Together, we address inner blocks and I provide tools which will help you not get stuck there again. I will challenge you to get clear about what would bring you true joy and authentic success. We will create a plan of action to support your dreams which will include measurable goals, and provide a clear pathway to success. I serve as your trusted personal advisor, cheerleader, sounding board, accountability partner, and the person in your life who will always tell you the truth (as I see it). My job is to help you grow and see you succeed.
Let's Get Started
Katie has been coaching for over a decade. She holds a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology and is a Certified Life Coach. Her undergraduate degree is from UC Berkeley. She also had a long and successful career in corporate America as a Community Relations executive. The best preparation for being a Coach has been through her life experiences. Successfully overcoming a difficult childhood, relationship struggles, financial debt, the effects of having an alcoholic parent, career confusion, an eating disorder, and family break-downs, have been valuable learning experiences that have prepared her to help others. Katie's growth continues as she navigates through marriage, motherhood, and moving abroad.
"We all have inner wisdom to help us handle life’s challenges. However, we often need support working through blocks in order to reach our highest potential. This is where Coaching comes in."
Whether you have a big heartfelt dream or simply feel stuck, our work together will be customized to best support you. At the end of the day, the only person that can truly move your life forward is you. However, by hiring me as your Coach you’re giving yourself an undeniable advantage and a priceless opportunity to grow and go for your dreams. I don’t solve your problems, but I do empower you to solve them yourself and provide support as you learn new skills and life mastery tools. What you learn during our time coaching together will be useful and applicable for the rest of your life.
I offer my clients deep listening, compassion, understanding and 100% confidentiality. You will have my focused attention on your goals, and my assistance in exploring what inner blocks are keeping you stuck. You also have access to my intuitive gifts and laser-like focus to bring you to the deepest healing opportunities available to you at this time.
Coaching sessions are primarily conducted by Zoom. A minimum six-month commitment is required up front, because that gives you time to truly create change in your life.
You can have everything that your heart desires and more! There is nothing that can’t be transformed. The question I have for you is: How good can you stand it?

What is the difference between Therapy and Coaching?
The main distinction is that Coaching is about setting and achieving goals. Whereas in therapy, generally one explores the past and works on healing old wounds. In Coaching, we may need to touch on the past, but we won’t stay there long. It's more about creating a future that you desire and the healing involved is about "what's in the way" of having the life you want. There is room for both Therapy and Coaching in a person’s personal growth journey. Sometimes they exist simultaneously and sometimes we work with a therapist for a while and then feel complete with that experience for the time being and are ready for the growth and challenge that working with a Coach will provide. It is a personal decision that only you can make. For more info read my post on Therapy vs. Coaching.
What is Spiritual Psychology?
If you’re interested in a formal definition, please visit the University of Santa Monica website. They explain it in detail and in-depth and even have a helpful video. This is where I received my master’s degree in spiritual psychology as well as my coaching certification. In short, Spiritual Psychology is about looking at life through a new lens. What if we are souls having a human experience? What if Earth is a school for our soul? What are we here to learn? How is what is happening in our lives helping our souls learn and grow? These are the types of questions that we may ask. It’s a radically empowering lens to view your life through.

What is the difference between Religion and Spirituality?
"Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary defines religion as 'the service and worship of God or the supernatural." Broadly speaking religion refers to a set of beliefs and practices designed to help the faithful enter heaven and reside with God for eternity...The same dictionary defines spiritual as 'relating to, consisting of, or affecting the spirit." Spirituality...has to do with the process of awakening into the conscious experience of unconditional Love in the here and now, rather than only after one dies. In this context, spiritual progression and evolution are one and the same. It's important to recognize that all major religions accept unconditional love and compassion as their core teaching. For this reason, there is no reason to argue over the fundamentals of any religious perspective." -excerpt from Loyalty to Your Soul, by the Drs Hulnick.
To their definition, I add:
Nor does practicing spiritual psychology interfere with a person's religious practices and beliefs. Like therapy and coaching, they can be complementary.
